The genres available in YA are expansive and include most of those found in adult fiction. Common themes related to YA include friendship, first love, relationships, and identity. Under the Oak Tree is a South Korean web novel written by Kim Suji. It was serialized in RIDI Corporation's digital comic and fiction platform RIDIBOOKS since January 17, 2017. The first season concluded on March 5th 2018. The spin-off was released on March 12, 2018 and was completed on July 19 of the same year. Afterwards, a special spin-off was also released on September 16. The second season started May 3, 2019 but is currently on hiatus due to the author's health problems.The daughter of a duke, the stuttering Maximilian, married a knight of lowly status at her father’s coercion. After their first night, her husband departed for an expedition without another word. He comes back three years later, this time as a famous knight in the whole continent.
